Refund Policy

At Optics 1, we stand by the quality of our eyewear. If a manufacturing defect arises within one year of purchase, we’ll repair or replace your product at no charge.

1. Warranty Coverage

• Duration: 12 months from purchase date
• Covered Defects:
  • Faulty hinges
  • Frame misalignment
  • Coating imperfections
  • Prescription lenses with errors in the manufacturing process

2. Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:

• Misuse or improper handling
• Accidents or impact
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs

3. Refund Option
If you’d prefer a refund instead of repair or replacement:

• Submit a refund request to our Customer Support team (details below).
• Provide proof of purchase and clear photos of the defect.
• Upon approval, you’ll receive instructions for returning the item.
• Once we’ve inspected the returned product, we’ll issue your refund to the original payment method.

• Flat‑Rate Shipping: NZ $5 on all orders, anywhere in New Zealand
• Delivery Time: 2–4 weeks from dispatch (rural deliveries may take up to the full 4 weeks)
