Our Auckland CBD store can prepare glasses for most single-vision prescriptions on the same day. Bring your valid prescription or have an eye examination with us, then choose your frame. Our team will guide you through your lens options, prepare your lenses in store and complete a final fitting before collection. Same-day availability depends on your prescription and lens and frame stock.
How our same-day glasses service works:

Eye examination or valid prescription: Bring your valid prescription, or have an eye examination with our team.

Frame style consultation: Try on frames in store. We will help you choose a style that suits your face shape and personal preferences.

Lens options: Discuss your lens preferences with our team and check same-day availability for your chosen options. Optional upgrades, including blue light filtering, are available at an additional cost.

Lens preparation in store: We cut and polish your lenses in our Auckland CBD store to fit your chosen frame.

Final fitting and comfort check: We check and adjust your finished glasses so they sit comfortably before you collect them.
Many customers collect their new glasses within 1–2 hours.
Same-day service depends on your prescription, selected lens options and available lens and frame stock. Some complex prescriptions may not be suitable for same-day service. Please contact our Auckland CBD team to confirm availability.

Same-Day Lens Options
Explore our premium single-vision lenses with durable coatings, available for same-day glasses at our Auckland CBD store. Our team will help you choose lenses that suit your prescription, frames and everyday needs.
1.55 Thinner Profile Lens
A practical option for single-vision prescription glasses, offering a slightly thinner profile than standard 1.50 lenses while remaining affordable. These lenses include an anti-reflective (AR) coating that helps reduce surface reflections, giving the lenses a clearer appearance and making your eyes easier to see through them.
1.61 Thin Lens
Our 1.61 lenses can offer a slimmer profile than 1.55 lenses for the same prescription and frame. They include an anti-reflective coating to help reduce surface reflections, along with UV protection.
Also available with blue light filtering.
1.67 Super Thin Lens
A higher-index option for customers who would like to reduce lens thickness further. Compared with lower-index materials, 1.67 lenses can provide a slimmer profile for the same prescription and frame. An anti-reflective coating and UV protection are included.
Also available with blue light filtering.
1.74 Ultra Thin Lens
Our 1.74 lenses offer the highest index in this same-day range and are an option when reducing lens thickness is a priority. They include an anti-reflective coating and UV protection. The finished thickness depends on your prescription, frame size and lens design.

1.61 Grey Sunglass Lens
These single-vision lenses combine your prescription with a grey sunglass tint and UV protection. The tint helps reduce brightness in sunny conditions, making them an option for daytime outdoor wear. Our team can help you choose a suitable frame and confirm same-day availability.

Same-day lens options are available for astigmatism correction up to −2.00 CYL. Availability depends on your prescription, lens choice and stock.
